failure to transmit live audio with Syn-Apps Announce

Hello,


Our organization uses Syn-Apps Announce 7.0.58 with Call Manager 6.1.2.1000-13. With SA Announce we are unable to make a live audio broadcast. Our attempts result in all the phones in a particular group being activated and the incoming announcement tone sounding. However the speech is not transmitted to the phones. Has any SA Announce user encountered this difficulty?

I have seen similar behavior where a subset of users stopped receiving Wokkie Tokkie-type pages. In that case it was because IGMP was not behaving properly on a switch and failed to add ports to the stream. I would recommend running some multicast tests to start from SA-Announce, Also try turning multicast off temporarily and see if the problem persists on a unicast page.

The unicast page does work.

The multicast tests (server to phone and phone to phone) do work.

The multicast page does not work.


What would be my next step?
