CUCM 5, 6 and 7 Wildcard search

I can't find anything related to this, so I ask you all if this feature has been removed from CUCM starting with 5.0: Wildcard search of directory numbers in CCM Administration page.

It used to be possible to search for phones with searches like this:

* 70[567]0

* 5_331

* 4[^12]33

They don't seem to work any more with the mentioned versions.

Has this been permanently disabled, or is there an option I can't seem to find to enable wildcard search?

It's a pity. This options was really useful. Surely there was a reason to remove it.
