We are looking to upgrade our LMS 2.6 on Windows to LMS 3.2 on a Solaris server. Does anyone know if the backup and restore would work between LMS on different platforms?
No, this is not possible. Databases can only be migrated from Windows to Windows or Solaris to Solaris. Specific instructions can be found in the Data Migration Guide at:
