SPA400: Press Pound Key

Hello,

Have a customer that has an objection to the voicemail saying, press pound key to end, after the greeting.

Is there a way to change, or get rid of the whole prompt and then they can add the wording the way they

want it to their greeting.

Hey Stephen,

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this. You will need to obtain a copy of the audio files from the USB key first. Locate the file that plays the ".....press the pound key" response. Using your choice of audio converter software, you can change this file to .wav, modify it, then convert it back to g.711u. Then simply replace the old with the new. You can record your own prompts, just make sure it's saved in g.711u format.
