Greetings, we have recently installed an 877 which fails to sync with the DSL circuit, following debugging of the ATM interface the following error is noted.

000452: *Mar 1 01:51:15.919 GMT: DSL(ATM0): Open failed: Req. min. rate + noise margin + PSD not possible on the line - retrying

Whilst i appreciate this may be a problem with the DSL circuit a BT 2Wire Router connects without issue as per the attached image. I have also tried forcing the DSL operating mode to both ADSL2 and ADSL2+ without success.

Would i be correct in assuming that the line is too noisy for the 877 to sync upto? Could i also ask if anyone has experienced a similar issue in the past?
