This bug is still existing when it has been upgraded to LMS 3.1.Initially, the bug was installed under the version LMS 3.01.The default is coming back and i beleived it was keeped , when it was restored.

Does someone has an idea about a special method? Do we need to open a SR to the TAC due a the environnement of variable ?

You can try to make a hosts file from the export from the DCR.

Once the name can be resolved the host wont be added again. Whether this is DNS or a local hosts file is just the same

No, this bug should no longer exists. The way it was solved was to poll the ipAddrTable of the devices to determine if a device was already in DCR. If you have an SNMP view which is blocking the ipAddrTable, then that could cause duplication. There may also be a problem with the DCR properties of your existing devices. Post all of the DCR attributes of two duplicate devices.

Hi Joe,

I work with Richard.

You can find 2 duplicates devices with DCR attributes.

Thanks,

Elisabeth
