unable to delete WAE from central manager

in process of upgrading to 4.1.3b, CMs done but a software upgrade to a WAE just stayed in pending.So did a "cms deregister force" on the WAE before i deleted it on the CM, but now when i try and delete on the CM I get an HTTP 500 error and a box saying transaction not complete "Directory already selected" /DMS/

anybody know How I can delete this device??

got round the problem by doing a "cms recover identity" on the WAE, this allowed it to register with the CM
