Hello all

I have been trying to upgrade is the IOS on my 6509 router. I tried to backup the older IOS onto the TFTP server but it failed half way and now the file is gone from sup-bootdisk: It also shows the error message sup-bootdisk: (no such device) when I try to do show sup-bootdisk:

Any suggestions on get the sup-bootdisk back?

thanks

What's the result with the dir /all command?

I believe it didnt show the sup-bootdisk: it - on space usuage and - on space remaining.

I will verify it again

it depends on your supervisor type, and if currently running catos or ios. If the suggestion that dir /all doesn't show you anything, best to check the documentation on your supervisor type.

if you have removable flash or disk, you can try disk0: or slot0:.
