BGP dmzlink command

Hi experts,

I am analysing the command "bgp dmzlink-bw" command. In all the sites and

CISCO documents says that this command has to be used under "address-family

ip4".

But I am seeing this command appears even without getting into

"address-family ip4". What is the difference of using with or without using

"address-family ipv4"

NOTE: I am aware the purpose of "bgp dmzlink-bw" command

Can you please help me to understand this

regards,

sairam

the address-family command is used when you implement multi-protocol BGP.

It's a way to distinguish between ipv4 & vpnv4 configs.

If you don't specify ipv4, everything falls under ipv4 global by default, which is just the plain old BGP.
