Hi ALL:

I have 3750 switch and have configured IPV6 for 1 vlan

but when i am connecting device on the same switch 2 different ports i am not able to ping the IPV6 address on the devices.

The IP address are Multicast.

IOS : c3750-advipservicesk9-mz.122-44.SE6

do i have to remove IPv4 address from the vlan to make this work.

DO i have have to enable sdm DUAL routing to make this work?

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.2_44_se/configuration/guide/swipv6.html

interface Vlan y

ipv6 enable

Interface configuration

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/43

switchport access vlan y

switchport mode access

Device ip address connected to PORTS

Any input guys.

I made some changes and able to ping from switch to the servers but from server to server is i am not able to ping.

Do i have do any routing for traffic in same vlan.

This is what i did

Switch(config)# sdm prefer dual-ipv4-and-ipv6 default

Switch(config)# ipv6 unicast-routing

Switch(config)# interface vlan 208

Switch(config-if)# no switchport

Switch(config-if)# ipv6 address 2001:0DB8:c18:1::/64 eui 64

the server are connected to access port in vlan 208.
