WIP 310 WiFi Password Restrictions?

Has anyone else ever had an issue with "complex" WPA passphrases and the WIP 310? I'm trying to join a network where the password is (example, not the real password) !ThenATwentyCharacterString!

The 310 doesn't seem to like the "!" in the password - if I change the network password and remove it, Ican join successfuly. Every other device I've tried (laptop, etc) have no issue with this password. Has anyone else had this issue with the 310?

I haven't ran into this issue before, but I would be glad to test it out in our lab. I'll post the results shortly.

I don't know what was wrong, but doing a full factory reset and setting the phone up again resolved the issue. Very odd.

These three tests connected successfully for me.

WPA-Personal (AES)

Password: testing!

WPA-Personal (TKIP)

Password: testing!

WPA-Personal (TKIP)

Password: !testing!
