I was curious if there is a way in radius to set a banner that can be used by ever network device through radius. Radius attribute or something. We have a new security officer in and instead of changing it on every system i would like to manage it centrally..any help appreciated.

radius types are not for banners.

Banners can be generated by motd.

Look at the radius types, and their RFC:

http://www.iana.org/assignments/radius-types

You will see that there is no such thing.

However they may be a workaround, I remember you can change the text for Username: Password: prompt.

Perhaps you can type a sentence and then ask for username. Something you may explore.
