Hi Team,
I have a new C2801 but the WIC-1T can't insert into slot #2. As I understand, WIC-1T can be inserted into slot #1 to slot #3. Could anyone know what the issue is ?

The c2801 won't support WIC-1T. Please use the HWIC-1T.One- and 2-Port Serial and Asynchronous High-Speed WAN Interface Cards for Cisco 1800, 2800, and 3800 Series Integrated Services Routers

the wic-1t does in fact work on the 2801 the hwic-1t is a replacement as the wic-1t is going eos/eol. here is what cisco says about the 2801
4 slots; 2 slots support HWIC, WIC, VIC, or VWIC type modules
1 slot supports WIC, VIC, or VWIC type modules
1 slot supports VIC or VWIC type modules
I know there is some explanation on the router itself as to which slot to use but I don't have one I can check but looking at a configuration I have slot 3 should work. hth
