Hi,
I have a setup in Paris where 99% of calls work but from some selected numbers - when they dial in - we are unable to hear them.
We have Call Manager 6.1.2 and in Paris an H323 voice gateway. As I state - almost all calls work fine for this site.
The only difference between these calls and the majority of others is that they come in with Plan ISDN and type National (though some calls with those parameters actually work!).
Does anyone have any ideas for this intermittent and annoying fault!
Cheers
Dave

One way voice means one way routing nine out of ten times, by the sounds of what you are saying you have layer 3 connectivity between all your phones and the H323 GW?!.
when you say "Plan ISDN and type National"
where have you configured this in CUCM?
also, when you set up one of the troubled calls and checked the active call on the H323 GW, do you see RX and TX increase? IN other words have you confirmed there is an ingoing and outgoing RTP stream for that call?

Hi,
Yes getting both streams. Just had word back from the customer that when he calls in and we answer the phone - the call is still ringing on his end. It would appear that the problem is a signalling issue because when he calls a DDI for an IP Phone forwarded to the desired extension on another part of the network (Internationally) - that call routes fine.
It's just anything that routes directly into our voice gateway that fails...

if the call is still ringing on his end that means something wrong on the config on your side. cause the cust gets the ring from you . look @ the config and take a look @ the separators command. your ephone-dn is configured for dual line. so when cust call line one line 2 is ringing somewhere.. pls post you dn and e-phone config .. that may help
P.S --the phone that cust is calling also maybe part of a group and so on...
hope this helps
