Hi,
I upgraded our AIP-SSM-10 with the image IPS-SSM_10-K9-sys-1.1-a-7.0-1-E3.img. But now when i try to log in i get the following error "authentication token manipulation error" I get this with the very first logon to session one with the default cisco user\pword.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for the help.

Password does not go to default when you upgrade. If you are trying cisco/cisco after you upgrade you should try with cisco and actual password.
Hope this helps

Hi,
I have the same problem with ISE (2.2). We haven't upgrade ISE so far. We have got the below error on CLI.
CLI ask for the current unix password while login, then ask for new password and confirm password. Once the password is entered it throws the error “passwd: Authentication token manipulation error”,
Any idea how to proceed further.
