Software-forced reload on 3825

Hello,

Our router reboots from time to time.

When I take a look in de crashinfo I can see that it is a software related crash. but I can't find the real cause of the problem...At first I thought that SDM was installed and caused a memory leak. But this isn't the case.

I have attached the crashinfo file..

Cisco 3825 (revision 1.2) with 489472K/34816K bytes of memory.

DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity enabled.

479K bytes of NVRAM.

125440K bytes of ATA System CompactFlash (Read/Write)

Can anyone give me a tip to the solution?

Thank You,

Best Regards,

Joris

Hi Joris,

Your best bet would probably be to open a case with TAC so they can decode the tracebacks. If that's not an option, try to just upgrade the IOS to the lastest version available.

If you have a traceback and a show ver, I can see if I get something.

Are you sure this is the correct crashinfo file? It's dated 09 July 2009.

Can you post the latest crashinfo file?
