I had solar winds and it had an IP browser. I would enter the community strings in and the subnet/ip that the switches were on and it would tell me all the switch names and their IP address.
I don't have that anymore. Are there any free tools I can download that would let me use this feature?

You can try Cisco Network assistant. it should have no cost.

how do I do that? I created a community, picked "devices on a subnet", typed in the IP address and the subnet.
It told me it may take up to 104 hours. I don't think im doing it right
