Prevent CAD and Sup-Desktop from downloading update?

Unanswered Question
Aug 14th, 2009

We have pushed the CAD and Sup Desktop to the needed pc's. We want to be able to control the CAD and SUP desktops (we want to push those out when needed, and not allow users to download). Is their way to prevent CAD and Sup Desktop users from being presented the updated message when they login? In our case their logging in for the first time. But again, we do not want users to be allowed to automatically update their software.

Thanks in advance,

I have this problem too.

Hi

If you know how the update process works it is easy to stop it working.

I would strongly recommend that you don't do this however - you should be running the correct client versions for your version of contact centre (that's why the software won't log in if it detects it is running an incorrect version).

If you are managing software deployment, then you should be pushing out the correct base version and any service releases.
