FXO - H.323-CUCM6 - PLAR - IP Phone- Caller-ID not working

Hi there,

This is happening across 5 remote sites which just got cutover from basic Key systems to IPTel.

PSTN into FXO, PLAR to IP Phone and no Caller ID, just comes up with unknown number. Caller ID working on outgoing calls but thats the carrier setting that.

Router types are various;

1861 - VIC2-4FXO - 124-11.XW6.bin

2801 - VIC2-4FXO - 124-22.T.bin

Config.

voice-port 0/2/0

cptone AU

connection plar opx 708

impedance complex1

caller-id enable

debug says

.Aug 16 23:36:17.996: [0/2/0] get_fxo_caller_id:Caller ID receive failed. parseCallerIDString:no data.

Calling Number=,(Calling Name=)(TON=Unknown, NPI=Unknown, Screening=Not Screened, Presentation=Allowed),

So I'm not seeing Caller-ID but it was working before and a cheap $5 phone connected shows Caller-ID.

Reading other problems people say its still a carrier problem but what kind of problem or is it something on my end I can try. I've tried lots of thing with commands but no luck.

Can you try CPtone US ?

And different options under caller-id enable.

If nothing works, you have to prove your case to cisco.

This is the reason BRI is always recommendable, no issues like always happens with FXO.
