Voice Gateway

Dear Cisco team,

I need to get voice gateway serial number, actually I noticed that:

show hardware

is not giving the right serial number, because I tried this command and I checked the label on VG itself

So I need your help to get the SN as I have many VG without label

VG type: AS5300 and AS5400 series

IOS 12.4(15)T7

Try show version or show inventory.

I tried both before

Show invetory

show only the modules SN

Show version

Do not show up the serial number I got from the label for all the VGs I checked physically

So please advice

Not all cisco product can show S/N with software commands.

So if the label is physically missing, there's no way to know.

This will be a problem as I don't have labels on many voice gateways

how to confirm that those VGs cannot be retrieved the SN?
