CVP port Utillization

I have 15 IVR ports License with CVP 7 in place i have a question that how many simultaneous calls can be placed at the same time.

Are you saying you have a single CVP VXML server that's licenced for 15 ports?

Or do you also have a redundant server licenced for 15 ports?

Do you have gateways that are licenced for 15 F-VXML licences, or perhaps AS5350s that don't require these licences?

Do you have the normal Call Server, licenced to 1000 ports?

Do you have two of these?

How did you calculate the number of CVP VXML ports required before ordering 15?

How many DS0s do you have?

Do you use microapps for queuing?

How many agents do you have?

Why all these questions?

Yes i do have redundant cvp vxml with 15 ivr ports and as5350s two of them.

i have normal call server.

Its an enterprise design with 10 agents.

Yes we do have microapp queing.

The question is how many calls can be enterrtained at the same time.

You can have 15 callers in the VXML applications and all agents occupied. Now you are using 25 CVP Call Server ports. You can have many callers queued in your microapps, since there are lots of Call Server ports left.

Assuming SIP and co-resident Call Server / VXML server you could support hundreds of callers in queue. The theoretical limit is 750 sessions, but the CVP calculator wants you to consider the average number of NVRU scripts (microapps) each call uses, and that will bring the number down somewhat, but there is still a large number allowed before you approach the maximum.

You are going to be limited by the number of DS0s into your ingress gateways. CVP is not going to be limiting things here - your inbound PRIs will.
