What could be the reason for continuous interface reset

Hello Meenakshi,

if the rate of excessive collisions is high likely the interface outout queue gets full while waiting between successive to transmit current frames.

The router resets the interface that looks like stucked.

late collisions may be the sign of duplex mismatch check on both sides of the links what are the settings

There is usually little reason to run a link at half duplex so you should not be getting any collisions unless you have speed/duplex mismatches on each end.
