Hi,
we append a 5 digit code to all mobile numbers dialed within the Route Pattern in order to get a reduced tariff over the mobile phone network.
The calling party then sees the mobile number with the 5 digits appended as the called number on their Cisco handset. Is there a way of stripping the 5 digits so that the original mobile number (11 digits) shows as the number called on the Cisco handset as some of our users are perplexed when they see the number displayed is not the number they called ie 5 digits + the mobile number?
Regards

You can either strip digits by configuring the Incoming Prefix service parameters in the Service Parameters window or by configuring the Strip Digits fields in the Device Pool, Gateway, or Trunk Configuration windows.
