Secondary IP address in the same subnet and EIGRP

Hi,

I have the following config on an L3 switch:

interface Vlan2

ip address 10.10.2.141 255.255.255.224 secondary

ip address 10.10.2.129 255.255.255.224

no ip redirects

EIGRP is running on this switch, and then redistributes in BGP on the edge router. Accessing the secondary IP address from outside the network sometimes fails. I cannot see why.

Any ideas?

How many times a day does it fail? Have you noticed any routing changes? Are you at a remote location and do the route get redistributed into an MPLS cloud? thanks
