I have a customer who wants me to add cell numbers to corp diretory but does not want general area phones to see them. Is there any way to block numbers by phone type? It's a hospital and he wants dr's numbers but we don't want patients to see them?

Not with what is built into the CUCM by default. You will need purchase or create a 3rd party application (XML) and point the phones you want to those databases.

Public phones would use one XML database for the phone directory (URL) and your other phones will point to another directory (URL)
