Hi everyone,
Is there a way to monitor the fan on the PS via snmp? any oid for this.
from sh env:
Power Supply 1 is present.
Fan status: Warning - failure
Input Voltage status: normal
DC Output Voltage status: normal
Power Supply 2 is present.
Fan status: normal [[[[[-----am interested in this fan!!!
Input Voltage status: normal
DC Output Voltage status: normal
48V Power Supply 3 is not present.
48V Power Supply 4 is not present.
Fan 1 Failed [[[[--------not this fan
Board Temperature: normal.

There is no specific object for the PS fan in this version of IOS. However, it does support the ciscoEnvMonSupplyStatusTable. The ciscoEnvMonSupplyState object will give you the overall status of the power supply.

Got this object, caemSupplyFailedComponent, from CISCO-ACCESS-ENVMON-MIB, but i'm not getting the response from an snmpwalk that I expect. Still doesn't indicate the failure of the fan on the PS.
