DFM is the one module is LMS that does not respect the DCR Display Name. It relies on a very specific one-to-one matching between hostname and IP. When in doubt, add entries for the problem devices to the server's local hosts file. Then, remove the devices from DFM and re-add them. They will then show up by hostname.
