Where is the bottleneck in my VPN configuration

For our remote office to VPN back to the main office, we have the following setup:

Subscribed T1 line from Main office to Remote, speed at 1.5 Mbps

Main office has a Cisco 3000 concentrator.

Remote office uses Cicso 3002 device - we found info from Cisco it says that this device runs at 10 Mbps, but with encryption, the throughput is 2.2 Mbps.

All the other routers, hubs, etc for the connections are at least 100 Mbps.

Question - For my remote users, is the bottleneck at the Cisco 3002, or the T1 line?

Your assistance is appreciated.

Since your T1 line is only 1.5mbs - the 3002 will NEVER be able to reach that amount.

Your bottle neck is the T1 - the more remote sites you add, the lower the available speed to each site will be.
