The 7925 is suited better for retail, healthcare, mfg and users that are mostly mobile.

The main reason for creating the 7925 was for the IP54 rating, but then Bluetooth and some other enhancements came along as well.

IP54 allows the phones to be thoroughly cleaned with minimal possibility of damaging the phone, where it protects against dust and water splashes.

The 7921 and 7925 are both supported on the AP1250.

Another difference is there is no single desktop charger offered by Cisco for the 7925, but there is via 3rd party (no speakerphone).

Other difference is 7925 is non-diversity (single antenna) due to the radio supporting 802.11a/b/g + Bluetooth.

Small battery life differences where 7925 is more optimal.

The 7925 battery is more like a cell phone type.

Also the 7925 uses a mini-USB conector for charging vs proprietary USB connector.

Charging contacts on the back of the 7925 for easier insertion into the multi-charger as well.

I have made som comparision between 7925 and 7921 for a customer with problems with quality on 7925's.

We encounterd audio problems on 7925 even with a good RSSI higher than -67 Dbm. We changed out one user for a old 7921 which worked much better. The audio quality seems also a lot better on 7921 also when roaming.

Also from what I gather from TAC is that the 1.3.3 is the most stable software right now. 1.4.1 issues sometimes is resolved by going to 1.4.2 but if not 1.3.3 is the safest bet.

I would not say 1.3(3) is the "most stable" per se, but maybe that scan logic works better for some environments vs 1.3(4) - 1.4(1)SR1. 

The scanning was re-worked in 1.3(4) to accommodate for seamless interband roaming. 

The scan logic was enhanced with the 1.4(2) release which is available as of a fee weeks ago and is the recommended version to use now.
