HI,
I have the following issue:
The client has some extensions with number:
10X and 100X, If I try to dial to ext 1000 or 1002 instead of ringing 1000 or 1002 the call is routed to extensio 100.
The same problems with ext 20X, and 200X
there is a way to avoid this issue.?
Regards

Hi Filiberto,
Hope all is well my friend! You won't love this answer, but any time you have an over-lapping number plan you will see these exact issues. The is no phone system that is smart enough to determine when you dial 100 that you really want 100x. The BEST idea is to go with one or the other, either a 3-digit plan or a 4-digit plan. Without this change there will always be problems.
Cheers!

Following on from Rob`s answer, could you not use Translation Patterns with the "not urgent box" ticked- UC7.X have this option now??? So that all internal calls go via the Translation patterns first but you do not translate anything
e.g
Translation Pattern 1XX! or 1!
that way the system will wait for the T302 timeout and if no more digits are dialled rote teh cal based in the original number 100 or 1000 ?

Sorry ignore my reponse- Didn`t see the "CME"

CME can also work based on timeout.
However, given the gross mistake made, it is the numbers that must be fixed, not the system.

Hi to all,
thanks a lot for your answer and recommendations.
I have already recommended the user to change dial plan, however the big question is the next.
CME was working at the beginnig with liksys phones (SIP), and there was no problem with dialing... .
I know this problem take place with cisco phones (SCCP).
