I am brand new to the fabric switch world and until now have only had experience with ethernet switches. I take care of the network infrastructure where I work and have been tasked with documenting a backup/recovery procedure for our fabric switches the same way we have it for our ethernet switches.
I have noticed that the SAN-OS images are much bigger than IOS so it made sense why SAN-OS wouldn't allow xmodem transfers. With that though, comes the problem of how to recover SAN-OS. I searched around for documentation on this and haven't been able to find anything. I was just wondering if anybody can point me to a doc on how to restore SAN-OS from rommon or whatever it is called on these switches. I would also like to know what the escape sequence to get into rommon is if it exists on these switches.
Thanks
