GVRP to VTP interconnection

Hi.

I have a Cisco Catalyst 4510 switch running as CORE in an industrial network. The network consists of several switches RUGGEDCOM using GVRP protocol. How can I connect them to the 4510 switch using VTP?. This because the 4510 has IOS and GVRP was enabled on CatOS. Some documentation on where to explain how to operate these two protocols?

Hello Ramiro,

I'm afraid you will have to go on with one device running VTP and the catos devices running GVRP with the need to manually keep their vlan databases in sync.

I've looked at c4000 catos guide 8.4 it talks about VTP version 1,2,3.

There is a distinct chapter for GVRP but interoperability with VTP is not mentioned.

In addition no config chapter about GVRP can be found in IOS config guide also for C6500
