Aliased Devices in RME

Running LMS3.1 - RME is showing on device as an alias in the RME Device Status portlet. The list of alias devices however doesn't show any devices. How can this be cleared?

First things first: Have you actually highlighted the alleged aliased device in the left column, then clicked on the "Show Aliased Device" button? It's not very intuitive, but that's what it takes to make RME display the "alias(es)" it thinks it finds. Once that's out of the way, then you'll get the option to "resolve" the aliases.

Both the left and right columns are showing "No Devices Found", this is the problem.

This points to stale data in one of the RME database tables. The problem is cosmetic, but can be fixed with an SQL query. If you contact TAC, they can walk you through running the query.
