Voice Mail for redirected calls

I want verify how does voice mail works in the following scenario.

Phone B is configured after 3 ring forward to Phone C.

Phone C is configured if not answer forward to voice mail.

Let say Phone A calls Phone B and Phone B and Phone C did not answer the Phone A's call. In this case can A will leave the voice massage ? Can he leave the voice message into the voice mail box of B ?

Hi Sathasivam,

Yes, in almost all cases the VM system will use the "Originally Dialed Number" to place the VM message, which in your example is Phone B. In newer CUE, Unity and Unity Connection VM systems this can be changed to the "Last Redirecting Number" which would be Phone C, but the standard would be Phone B. If you let us know what system and version you are using we can be more specific.
