Let's say you have two locations, connected via PPP, in a centralized call processing model. Each location is configured with 256 Kbps for bandwidth. How many G.729 calls can be placed between locations simultaneously?

Hi Michael,
Looks like about 9 simultaneous calls at first glance. Try this excellent tool from Cisco;

Hope this helps!

Remember to enable RTP header compression on such slow link. You can easily double your calls between locations.
