Hello.
I have a dedicated fibre connection between 2 of our primary sites with direct routing between the firewalls at the edge of each site.
Each site also has an ADSL connection for emergency internet, which I have connected to the firewalls with a floating route for internet traffic.
However in the event of the fibre failing whilst we would still have internet access we would lose inter-site connectivity as such I was thinking of setting up a VPN between the ADSL interfaces encryption the LAN traffic so the inter-site connection would continue.
The problem i forsee is that the VPN path would take priority even when the fibre is up?
Has anyone done anything similar?
