Hi,
I have installed 2 VWIC-2MFT-E1 cards on slot 0 (NM-4VWIC-MBRD)on our 2811 voice gateways. So, we have 4 e1 ports. (0/2/0, 0/2/1, 0/3/0, 0/3/1)
The 2 E1 ports on the first VWIC card (0/2/0 and 0/2/1) are connected to one service provider.
The 2 E1 ports on the seconds VWIC card (0/3/0 and 0/3/1) are connected to another service provider.
Following is the config regarding clocking on our voice gateway.
"network-clock-participate wic 2
network-clock-participate wic 3
network-clock-select 1 E1 0/2/0
network-clock-select 2 E1 0/2/1".
Will connecting 2 VWIC cards on the chassis to 2 different service providers cause any issue?
Pls help.
-Bala.

You may suffer some slips, check with "show controller E1".
Beside that, no issues.

Hi Paola,
Thank you very much for the response.
Can you please explain why there might be slips? And what can i do to prevent these slips?
Also, will voice quality be affected because of these slips?
Thanks,
Bala.
