Hi there
I have an active/standby configuration is it possible to upgrade the ASA5520 with zero downtime from 8.0(3) to 8.2(1)? and ASDM from 6.0(3) to 6.2.
Thanks

You can upgrade the ASDM with zero downtime, but you cannot upgrade the ASA code itself from 8.0(3) to 8.2(1).

Per the article above, you would need to upgrade to 8.0(4) first, and then to 8.2(1).

Tim,
I do not think this is possible, as even with statefull failover configured, once 1 device is reloaded - it will reload on a different versions. You cannot have statefull/failover working on 2 units on seperate versions
