3825 loading loop

Hi, i just put a new E1 card in Router, and i rebooted it, but its stuck in a loop, i can only see this output on console.

can any one help?

Please provide the part number on that E1 module as well as the show version from the router in question.

Edison, the router doesn't boot, how he can provide IOS information ?

Ahamad: remove alls cards and memory for router. Re-insert memory back. Check if it can boot. If it can, try re-inserting cards again. If it cannot, router is faulty and must be replaced.

Paolo, I was assuming that removing the E1 module will return the router to its previous state - in other words, he should be able to boot. Looking back, I should said that on my original message.

Removing all cards and rebooting didnt help out :-s

Hello,

This line from the output is probably the indication of the problem:

Corrected ECC from L2 cache or memory: 0xc0dc0000

There seems to be a problem either with the cache or the RAM modules. If possible, try to remove and reinstall the memory module just in case it became somehow loose (you will need to open the router chassis for that). Eventually, if you have a similar router, try swapping the RAM modules to see if the problem goes away. If this does not help then I am afraid we're out of options :-\

I Tried re seating Memory and changing the slot. it didnt help.

i don't have same router my bad, i have asked a vendor if they can provide me RAM for testing, lets hope. but i couldnt find cache module, i guess its built in board.

will keep you guys posted.

Did you mean to say, you plug the card while the router is power on?
