We're configuring new routers and noticed that the IPBase version that we're running doesn't support NTP. We need the K9 version of IPBase. Can we "legally" download it since it's in the same family?
I read the internal bug enclosure and the problem is with the online help but the command will take if entered without the help.
R1(config)#ntp server ?
vrf VPN Routing/Forwarding Information
R1(config)#ntp server 18.104.22.168
R1#sh run | i

Thanks for highlighting the bug.
You might try sntp instead:
sntp server HOST
SNTP should be supported in this image.
On routers, k9 is an updated image - more $$. On switches, the migration is free.
Don't shoot the messenger :)
