Hi all,
Even if I didnt check "Enable Password change through PEAP" setting on Cisco ACS, when a user tries to log on to wireless network, whose domain password is about to expire, receives a popup window on Windows XP, saying that his/her password is about to expirer ?
Is this normal ?
PS : Check the screenshot attached.

ACS is not capable to send these messages for wireless users.
AD is sending it.

HI,
This message is coming from your AD and not ACS. AD is configured to send notification to users.
So this is normal.

Hi,
The thing is, this happens during a wireless connection session, the client is already logged into his/her computer and tries to connect to wireless network. So authentication request ise sent by the Access Point to Cisco ACS.
I though that AD is nowhere in this picture ???
Just that on Windows Wireless settings, "Configure Windows Login name and credentials" is checked. And we are not using any special Wireless Card Software. Just plain Windows wireless settings feature.
