Resolved caveats of 12.2(33)SRC4

Hello everybody!

Is it true that 12.2(33)SRC4 IOS includes the same resolved caveats that 12.2(33)SRC3 does? According to Bug Toolkit the bug CSCsr86826 is fixed in 12.2(33)SRC3 but they didn't make mention of it in the list of the resolved caveats in 12.2(33)SRC4. From the other side 12.2(33)SRC4 isn't listed in the affected versions of this bug. Is there any guarantee that this bug is fixed in 12.2(33)SRC4?

Hi,

SRC4 is the next bug fixes release after SRC3 so any bugs fixed in SRC3 and earlier will also be fixed in SRC4

SRCx contains SRC(x-1) code + new bugs fix.

But the opposite is not a true. A bug resolved starting in SRC4 is not resolved in previous releases but will by default be included in any new release (SRC5,..).

Thank you very much for your reply! Now the newer version can be installed instead of SRC3.
