We do not recommend using third party applications to backup LMS data. Instead, use the built-in LMS backup to backup the data, then backup the backup using a file system backup program.

That is, use whatever backup suite you like to backup the server's file system, but do not rely on it to restore LMS data. Instead, if you need to do a system restoration, first restore the OS, and applications, then restore the LMS data from the backup created by LMS.

As for compatibility, I have heard of no other customers running Time Navigator. I cannot say if there will be issues.
