greeting
attach the sh process memory output, and can I get some advice, if I have memory problems? if so, does it cause my cat6500 process high to 90% time by time, but only few minutes or even most time few seconds?
I have client complain about connection broken time by time, but every time only have problem for few minutes. and my cat6500 use 12.2(33)SXI1. I have checked system, and logs, I can not find any problems but the memory.
Any comment will be appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hello Julie,
post a sh proc cpu history
sh proc cpu sorted 1min
when you say 90% do you mean cpu usage?
I agree that your device shouldn't have memory issues
sh proc mem
Processor Pool Total: 377171344 Used: 134847520 Free: 242323824
I/O Pool Total: 67108864 Used: 16487640 Free: 50621224
you still have more then 200 MB free of main memory and 50MB free for I/O operations
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Hello Julie,
I think cpu usage is too high for a C6500 class device.
You may be hitting a bug or there is a configuration issue.
May you post in an attachment file
sh proc cpu sorted 1min
this is to see what processes are using more resources.
Other collegues have reported cases of increased cpu usage moving to 12.2(33)SXI.
Hope to help
Giuseppe
