Cisco 7937 does not dial +

Hi

I have strange problem on 7937s conference phones. When I do directory lookup and find number starting with + as country code, it strips the + and does not dial and sends number without + to internal extension.

But, when I dial from normal phone with directory lookup, it dials + and connects the call.

Any idea if it is bug related issue.

Hi Muhammad,

We are having the same issue with 7937. We have + dialing and 7937 couldn't show it from coporate directory. 7965 works fine. Our CM is 7.13.

Did you have this issue solved? Looks like a bug.

As of firmware 1.3(4), the 7937 does not support dialing the + character. There is apparently an enhancement request open to address this but I have yet to see it first-hand.
