Hi there,

We have a pair of 7825 H2 IPC2 servers currently loaded with Unity 7.x. We have the software and want to now retask these boxes with IPCC/UCCX in our lab rather than buy more physical servers for just occassional use.

Does anyone know the difference between the CCX1 and IPC2 models? When we tried to load the IPCC/UCCX on these machines, aftering loading the base Win2003 image, we received an error indicating that we require Cisco HW. Is there a way to get these servers to load the UCCX/IPPC in our lab environment? BIOS tweeks? ROM upgrade?

Thanks

Randy

Try loading VM on those servers and loading the UCCX software on VM... assuming the 7.x branch.

You'll need to use a Cisco Telephony OS disk to install the OS. The one you get with Unity won't work.
