Hi
I just upgraded our IPS4240 from IPS-K9-6.0 E2 to IPS-K9-7.0-1 E3. Then I installed the IME 7.0.1 in my workstation for Monitoring but I have an error encountered when adding our device
Error respone from IME server: Unknown error.
I already tried it w/ other workstation to avoid conflicts w/ some cisco managing applications. No luck..
I make sure also that there is no
other security device in the middle.
Someone have an idea?

As another way, you may add your sensors to proxy override list in java settings.
IME 7.0 uses Java network settings.

Hi
Thanks smukhanin for the reply
But it's no the java, my version of java is the appropriate one.
Anyway, I already fix the problem recently. What I did was
1)Make sure that the java and adobe flash plugins are there.
2) Installed 6.2 version then add the 2
IPS 4240. (succesfull)
3) Then upgrade it to 7.0.1 and
it works fine.
But if you have a proxy in your network
also, you must allow your Management Server and all IPS to any (no need to authenticate)
