I want to use the Gig-ethernet to reach the peer router, I also want to load QoS but it does not want to accept my QoS policy. How can I realisethese goal using the ethernet interface, is it possible? I tried to use the 7600 SIP so that I can use the channelised e1 SPA but it does not want to accept the SIP too.

I have this problem too.

For Advanced QoS (shaping - CBWFQ), you need a WAN module in the 6500 as the LAN module only supports basic QoS (marking - policing).

Are you referring to the SIP600? If so, it should be able to support your QoS. Care to post the QoS config and what error do you receive while applying the service-policy under the SPA?

BTW, what kind of SPA are you using on SIP600? What IOS version running on the switch?
