Hello,

I am measuring Jitter (Packet Delay Variation) for a network. And succesfully found the values according to Y.1541 technique but The problem it is a two way jitter because calculated on round trip packet delay. Can any one tell me, dividing the jitter calculations by a factor of two is correct way to find the one way jitter ? as normally one do for round trip packet delay.

Answers with reference would be high appreciated ?

Thanks !

No, jitter is an one way value and is never to be divided by two.
