This looks like CSCso85695. It's not fixed on the 6500 until 12.2(33)SXH4.

Hi Jclarke.

appreciate if you could post the output from the bug toolkit.

coz, i have limited access with limited information :(

CSCso85695 Bug Details

Information contained within bug ID CSCso85695 is only available to Cisco employees. It is our policy to make all externally-facing bugs available in Bug Toolkit so the system administrators have been automatically alerted to the problem. By choosing to save this bug, you may be notified when the decision to make this bug available to you has been made. Note: Some product enhancement requests and documentation error bugs may not be available in Bug Toolkit.

Unfortunately, there are not a lot of details I can share about this bug. I can say that is triggered by RMON data querying either by SNMP or through the CLI (e.g. the "show rmon events" command).

Hi Jclarke,

Thanks for your information.

but what is the corrective action should i need to take to resolve this problem ?

thanks a lot.

According to the detail in the bug, the only solution is an upgrade. No other workarounds are offered. Of course, if you avoid using RMON with the switch, then this crash should not occur.

Hi Jclarke.

Noted with thanks.

Regards,

Jack
